FREE Tuesday Coffee Concert: SummerTime Barbershop Quartet
SummerTime, an acapella Quartet in the Twin Cities metro area of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, was formed in the fall of 2007 to perform a Christmas program on Dec 20 at a local nursing home. This turned into an annual event, and has led to other Christmas season performances.
Since that start, The Quartet has participated in various civic, church, corporate and seasonal events including the Twin Cities' Strides for Stroke benefit walk, as well as in the Croix Chordsmen Chorus Annual Spring and Christmas shows. They have also sung complete wedding ceremonies, conducted complete church services at Christmastime, and worked the crowd at St. Paul Saints’ games.
SummerTime's repertoire includes new and traditional music, fun songs, and tags sung in traditional barbershop harmony. They are available for weddings, Christmas parties, Care Center events, backyard parties, funerals, corporate events (office parties, sales meetings, celebrations), singing Mothers Day Cards and Christmas Cards, etc.
Members include Duane Schuh - Tenor, Cliff Turnbull as Lead, Loren Paulson singing Bass, and Dale Schueffner at Baritone.
