2014 Veterans Day Dinner

The Hastings Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1210 and American Legion Post 47 are holding their annual Veteran's Day dinner at the Legion's banquet room on Tuesday, November 11th.

The evening's events include a social hour from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.m with a buffet dinner immediately following at 6:30 p.m.

The featured speaker for the evening will be General Gene Andreotti, retired adjutant general of the Minnesota National Guard.  Andreotti has commanded about 12,500 part-time uniformed personnel and civilians in Minnesota.  He has overseen deployments to both Iraq wars, humanitarian missions to Latin America, assignments in the war-torn Balkans and emergency services during floods and other natural disasters in Minnesota.  He was the adjutant general for 15 years.

Tickets for the dinner are $10 and can be purchased a the American Legion Post 47 clubhouse at 50 Sibley St. during regular business hours.
