    Job Description
    Liaisons between various departments providing detailed network hardware and expertise for gaming and lottery architecture design / costing.  Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
       Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
       Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
       Represent Technical Services team from a network perspective with RFP engagements and provides documentation for projects and assignments
       Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and frameworks
       Coordinate with vendors to provide and develop relevant solutions
       Design and implement network architecture to various technical and non-technical groups and effectively communicates these changes written and verbally
       Monitor performance, security and scalability of network and systems
       Support multiple environments providing support across all business system operations
       Configure and test systems to ensure high availability and security
       Work with and consult with others on designs and specifications
       Develop, test and implement plans and project timelines
       Understand software deployments and implications on existing and future systems

    KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    Knowledge and Certification
    Required:
       4-year IT degree or related field and 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education
       Demonstrated advanced knowledge of data network protocols, hardware, TDM, various network design and operation methodologies
       Demonstrated experience configuring and deploying routers, firewalls and intrusion protection systems
       Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP within a large network
       Mastery of spanning-tree, VTP, port channels, load balancing, SPAN
       Understanding of IP concepts including routing, VLAN's, QoS, tuning and capacity management concepts and tools
       Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis
       Experience with operations management of system, network or infrastructure components and security controls
       Familiar with data center design, deployment and implementation
       Develop / design highly redundant data center environments
       Evaluate and POC new infrastructure design ideas

    Preferred:
       CCIE certification
       Supervisory experience
