    Job Description
    SUMMARY:  Provide security for indoor, national entertainment events.  Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    ? Provide guests with proactive visibility that will enhance their entertainment experience and give guests directions
    ? Provide general security to include venue patrols, backstage entry control, watch for and address issues related to alcohol consumption
    ? Watch for and address breaches of security, crowd management issues, persons in unauthorized areas and safety hazards
    ? Provide efficient screening of guests entering the venue for prohibited items using bag checks while utilizing walk-through metal detectors and wand devices
    ? Provide escorts and security for entertainers, their facilities and cordoned areas
    ? Respond to incidents of medical emergencies, fire, bomb threats, active shooter, severe weather and disorderly conduct

    KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    Knowledge and Certification
    Required:
    ? High School Diploma/GED

    Preferred:
    ? 1-year experience and/or training in law enforcement, security, military or related field
    ? Prior event security work or equivalent experience

    ? Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
    ? Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    ? Accurate and detail-oriented
    ? Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

    Abilities
    Required:
    ? Ability to interact with entertainers, event staff, guests, coworkers and management in a professional manner
    ? Ability to effectively deal with intoxicated and disorderly persons in a professional manner
    ? Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
    ? Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
