    Job Description
    To manage and direct the bar department and casino beverage service functions.  Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    - Oversee Bar operations
    - Hire, coach, supervise, and develop staff
    - Provide direction related to policies and procedures
    - Coordinate, communicate, and follow up with internal business partners to ensure delivery of superior guest service
    - Develop and maintain financial / statistical reports and annual budget
    - Ensure work schedules meet business needs while maintaining maximum efficiencies
    - Create, maintain and revise training manuals, policy / procedure manual, and job descriptions
    - Establish and uphold quality, service, and cleanliness standards
    - Monitor inventory and make recommendations for supply / equipment purchases
    - Address guest questions, complaints, or concerns in a courteous, professional manner
    - Participate with Hospitality and Casino Management teams for networking, training, and support
    - Responsible for financial performance of outlets, including labor, food costs, and other expenses to meet business needs while maintaining maximum efficiencies
    - Create, maintain and revise a vendor utilization plan

    KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Knowledge and Certification
    Required:
    - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
    - 4 year degree in Hospitality or related field OR 5 years managerial experience in a high-volume bar operation; or equivalent of combination of education and experience

    Preferred:
    - Budgeting experience
    - Computer-based cash handling systems experience

    Required:

    - Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XP
    - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    - Must be able to walk and / or stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8+ hours
    - Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
    - Must be able to reach and twist infrequently
    - Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects infrequently
    - Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
    - Must have good eye hand coordination
    - Must be able to operate foot pedals
