Civil War Weekend at the LeDuc Historic Estate - September 7-8, 1- a.m.-5 p.m.
It was 150 years ago that quartermaster William LeDuc helped keep the "Cracker Line" open, propelling the Union Army to critically important victories in 1863. Join Dakota County Historical Society in exploring pivotal events of 1863 through talks by historians, re-enactments, hands-on demonstrations, and full encampments of Union and Confederate soldiers. Help us honor the supreme sacrifices made by soldiers, as well as the hardships of citizens, that shaped our nation's history.
