SUMMARY:Tasting Tea Throughout History at the LeDuc Historic Estate
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered why tea is considered white\, green\, brown or black?  Similar to wine\, tea contains anti-oxidants\, has numerous natural benefits and can be wonderfully described as fruity\, weedy\, delicate\, and spicy.  Enjoy a tea tasting adventure.  Partake in edibles that are appropriate accompaniments specific to a variety of teas.\n\n\n\nWhile attending this tea\, guests will have an opportunity to see a video presentation about the LeDuc family and enjoy a brief tour through the LeDuc house. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite tea cup\, since tea really does taste better in a beautiful cup.\n\n\n\nThis class is being taught by tea expert Sandy Carroll and is being sponsored by the LeDuc Historic Estate and Hastings Community Education.  Register online @ https://hastings.thatcommunityed.com/course/spring-2012/tasting-tea-throughout-history or call 651-480-7670 or clip the paper registration form from the Community Ed. brochure and mail to Hastings Community Education\, Tilden Community Center\, 310 River Street\, Hastings\, MN 55033.  The fee\, payable at the time of registration is $25\, and\,  please bring $5 the night of the event which will cover the cost of consumables. Please park behind the LeDuc house (in the lot off 17th Street E.) and then follow the walk up to the house.
