DESCRIPTION:The Summer Camp - Life with the LeDucs will take place at the LeDuc Historic Estate\, Tuesday\, June 19 - Thursday\, June 21\, 8 a.m. -12 p.m. for children ages 10- 14.  This is a fun and educational class for children where they will take part in old- fashioned games & exciting outdoor adventures.  They will be dressed in period costumes provided by the Estate and will participate in activities such as taking a tour of the mansion & learning about the family\, churning butter\, cooking over an open fire\, feeding the chickens\, gardening\, learning about the Civil War\, complete with drilling & marching\, journaling & making crafts to bring home.  This class will be taught by volunteers & educators at the LeDuc.  Registration fee is $75 and should be done through www.HastingsCommunityEd.com.
