DESCRIPTION:Empowering Veterans to Achieve a High Quality of Life\n\nEmployment & Education Resource Fair for Military Families\n\n \nBeyond the Yellow Ribbon will join forces with experts from the United States Department of Labor\, Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development\, Employer Support for the Guard & Reserves\, and local higher education institutions.\n\n\n\nThis will be a table talk discussion at the Nelson Lucking American Legion Post 47\, with a social hour beginning at 6 p.m. and discussion following.\n\n\n\nThe purpose of this talk is to provide knowledge about jobs\, opportunities to obtain skills\, credentials\, resources and support needed to foster\, promote\, develop the welfare of wage earners\, job seekers\, advance opportunities for profitable employment and work-related benefits and topics.\n\n\n\nPanelists include:\n\nScott Mills\, US Dept. of Labor\n\nJim Finley\, Minnesota DEED\n\nJim Mitchell\, ESGR\n\nKatherine Bachman\, Minnesota Veterans Affairs Higher Education\n\nLisa Thomas\, CVSO\n\nand more\n\n\n\nThis is not limited to veterans and residents of the Hastings community.  Invitees are area Military\, Veterans\, Families and Community\; Chamber of Commerce members\; Businesses\; Yellow Ribbon Networks\; Unemployed\, Dislocated\, Underemployed and Discouraged Workers.
