DESCRIPTION:The Hastings Police Department has planned an open house recognizing National Police Week.\n\n\n\nThe open house will be held from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Tuesday\, May 12\, at the department which is located on Sibley Street between Third and Fourth streets.\n\n\n\nSibley Street will be closed during the event in order for the department to be able to show its vehicles and meet and greet members of the public.\n\n\n\nAt 5 p.m.\, there will be a presentation by Dakota County Sheriff Tim Leslie to read the roll of those Dakota County Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.\n\n\n\nSponsors for the event include Duff's Meats 2\, River City Popcorn Company and United Way of Hastings.
